Ingredients

Yerba mate, aroma of mango, orange and passion fruit.

Preparation

Use 1-2 teaspoons of mate tea per 2 dl of water. Pour over water heated to 70-80 °C and let it steep for 5-10 minutes. Do not use boiling water. If desired, lemon, honey or mint may be added.

For traditional preparation, fill a calabash up to one third with yerba mate, gently shake it at an angle, insert the bombilla, moisten the leaves with a little cold water, wait briefly, then slowly add warm water at 70-80 °C. Refill with warm water as desired.
