Taste & Aroma
This black tea has a fruity and spicy taste, with a fresh spicy note and a very aromatic fragrance. Due to its natural character and recommended preparation, it may also show a slight bitterness if steeped too long.
Ingredients
Black Sri Lankan tea. Origin: Uva, Sri Lanka.
Preparation
Use 1 teaspoon of tea, approximately 2g, for a 2 dl teacup. Pour over water at 100°C and steep for 3 minutes, then strain.
The tea can be poured up to three times. For the second and third infusion, monitor the water temperature and extend the steeping time. Correct water temperature and steeping time are important, as longer steeping may make black tea taste more bitter.
