Preparation

Use 1 teaspoon of tea, approximately 2g, for a 2 dl teacup. Pour over water that has boiled and cooled to 80°C. Leave to steep for 2 minutes, then strain.

For the second and third pouring, monitor the water temperature and extend the steeping time. Correct water temperature and steeping time are important, as water that is too hot or steeping that is too long can make the tea taste more bitter.

For cold preparation, pour cold water over the desired amount of tea, using 1 teaspoon per 2 dl of water. Leave in the water for 2-3 hours, then strain. Adjust the taste with sugar, honey, citrus fruits, fresh fruit, or fruit juices if desired.
