Aunt Pehta’s herbal tea has a naturally varied herbal character. Licorice root adds a gentle sweetness, while peppermint, chamomile, elderberries, thyme, rosemary, and the fruit ingredients create a rounded and aromatic infusion.

Ingredients

Cranberries, fennel, licorice, anise, bean pods, rose hips, peppermint, St. John’s wort, blueberry leaves, yarrow, nettles, chamomile, elderberries, wild thyme, horsetail, dandelion, calendula, rosemary, thyme.

Preparation

Use 1 teaspoon of tea, approximately 2g, per cup. Pour over water heated to 100°C and steep for 5-8 minutes.

The tea can be infused up to three times. Leave each next infusion in the cup a little longer. For the final infusion, the blend can also be boiled in a bowl for 10-15 minutes, then strained into a cup. Honey or lemon may be added if desired.
